********* PAYMENTS POLICY **********
Monthly and three month accounts paying by credit card are automatically billed unless you specify otherwise. All accounts paying by check or money order and six month and yearly accounts will receive e-mail notification approximately 15 days prior to expiration.
All Accounts paying by check or Money Order are responsible for having your payment reach us prior to the expiration date. Access is turned off two days after the date of expiration. Expired accounts will be kept available for reactivation for 30 days. A $20 fee will be charged for checks returned due to insufficient funds.
********* MONEY BACK POLICY **********
If you purchase our monthly plan, we will refund your entire amount if you notify us in the first 7 days that you are canceling. If you cancel after the first 7 days, there will be no refund.
If you purchase our three month, six month or yearly plan, we will refund your entire amount if you notify us in the first 7 days that you are canceling. If you cancel after your first 7 days, we will issue a refund after penalty for early cancellation (penalty is based on full price for months used and not discounted price).
Money back policies do not apply to setup, web page design, or any other one time fees and requires the return of any physical media, supplies, manuals or other material acquired from us. Referral Time earned is also canceled.
There are exceptions to this money back policy, so please read our DISCLAIMER
********* ACCESS POLICY *********
Our objective is to offer the best possible Internet Access to our customers. This requires that we maintain a balance between the needs of our customers and the costs of running our business. Many ISPs offer "Unlimited Access". The meaning of this term has become unclear. In the past it has meant that a customer was not subject to hourly fees in addition to the monthly fee. This is still true at Computerlynx. However, it does not mean that a customer may stay connected forever. Because of this, we have dropped the word "Unlimited" from our service offerings and have instituted the following policy:
After being connected for five hours, customers will be disconnected. Customers who are idle for 30 minutes will be disconncted. Customers may immediately log on after being disconnected. If you have a special need that requires you to be connected for longer than five hours, please call us so that we can help you.
We hope that this policy will strike the appropriate balance that is necessary.
