Dave Mott, Owner, has been involved with IT since the late 1970's. First with DEC PD 11/40's then the VAX 11 line of mini computers. He has held positions in operations, programming, system management and consulting. He has been involved in every aspect of IT development, management and capacity planning. In 1997 he left contracting and started an ISP where he added networking and web technology to his skill set. His company, ComputerLynx Network is currently involved in IT support in the Microsoft server and network environment. His company provides support from the initial stages of capacity planning, through hardware acquisition and implementation (including electrical and network wiring), software deployment and server and network performance and security management. Keith Barbour, Senior Technician, is an Information Technology Expert that has been heavily immersed in the technology industry for the last 5 years, but has been working with computers and technology for the last 24 years. Keith holds certifications from Microsoft as a Certified Professional for Windows XP, Certified Systems Administrator for Windows Server 2003, is certified by QualysGuard for Vulnerability Management, and is continuously pursuing further education and certification to better contribute to the IT field and his clients. Keith has extensive real world experience supporting and administering all Microsoft Office Products (XP-2010), Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (DOS 3.1-Windows 7), and all Microsoft Server and Exchange Products (2000-2010) including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Patch Management, RAID, etc., and some experience with Linux Desktop Operating Systems and Apple Operating Systems as well as a variety of Smart Phones. Keith also has comprehensive knowledge of VPNs, Routers, Switches, Anti-Virus Suites, Firewalls, Internet Gateways, Cabling, Networking, Sub-netting, computer and server hardware, and all other issues regarding Residential and Enterprise level Support. Keith has experience with both hands on and remote support options for a plethora of hardware and software vendors. Keith has experience in remotely supporting tens of thousands of end users and related hardware for over 300 hotels within the United States and Puerto Rico. Anthony Salcedo, Technician, is an experienced computer technician since 2001 with a specialty in internet security. He has been involved in large and small networks using both Microsoft and Linux technologies. He has built and repaired PCs and Servers for business and pleasure. He has owned his own networking company as well as worked for businesses in their IT departments. He has been deeply involved in internet technologies including routing, DNS, Domain technology and database. He is currently a student at YTI Career Institute earning as Associate’s Degree in Specialized Technology with an anticipated graduation date of November 2011. Daniel Mott, Technician, is the owner of a successful electrical business who is currently completing certifications in servers, networks and security. He joined his father Dave Mott in the business after several years of experience troubleshooting workstation and server issues. Daniel brings his extensive knowledge of network, electrical and computer troubleshooting to bear on problems in the server room and at the workstation. |
